| Hey fellas,
I'll be back home in LA for another vacation, from 4/29 to 5/6, minus flying days. I'd be so down to hang out w/ anyone around the LA area... what I wanna do the most is definitely enjoying some fabolous In-n-out while watching the Lakers playoffs... bowling and basketball would be great too. Also need a trip to Souplantation and possibly a run to Taco Nazo (?) in Pico Rivera for some $$$ fish tacos.
Tagging those who I think are in LA at the moment... those who I have accidentally omitted and have saw this notice (my early apologies), please let me know if you want to kick it~
Damn I miss proper road manners so much (as well as actually being able to drive)!

| I deduced that some of my unhappiness resulted from not being aggressive enough... not willing to execute fully... not doing precisely what I want in my mind... thinking, "it's okay, whatever." It's time to be a little more stubborn... to ask for more... to do exactly what I intend From now on, to the best of my abilites, ...remember the objectives. If I want to point out something, say it; if I want to drive in for a lay-up, do it. No more backing out on words; no more turnovers from last-second bad passes. ...quit the momentary glances, I'll look at somebody straight up. I don't care if that person sees me seeing her (or him). ...when it's time to work out, WORK OUT. That ass is not sitting on something waiting to get fatter. ...I'll just write whenever there is an urge. I'll let blogging become a mean of communication with myself, more than just that with others. ...I shall be as frank (and humorous) as possible in my writing w/o offending anyone. Besides letting it out, those who care to read might offer their perspectives. No more shyness, timidness, or other ehh bleh bleh. It's time to really focus in the middle of everything. It's time to be my own yes-man. It's time to give a push in the back... to me... by me.
「破殼而出吧!」

| ...that's because I'm in Taiwan. (Oooooo weeeee!!) A short and sweet training break... this is a proper, PROPER vacation to get away from all the dreadful work in Longhua... or, at least I'm ready to tackle all the dirtier work that I will face once I return to Shenzhen. With my return flight in 13 hrs and the ground full of unpacked things, I think I better wrap up the typing, power off the system, close shut my eyes, and then open them again early enough to pack the shit. Though pointless, finally leaping over the great [fire]wall to access Xanga just........ feels good. | | |
| It is currently helping me getting to bed early (well I personally believe so). I didn't bother to write anything while I was graduating and moving out of Berkeley, cuz I was such a lazy ass that most of the packing & cleaning were done in a rush in a matter of 3 days... packing on Friday, graduation & cleaning on Saturday, moving out & driving home on Sunday. And soon after moving back home, I initiated my trip to Taiwan... haven't been there for 3.5 years. It was a pleasant trip, minus the damn weather. I get to see almost all of my relatives on my Dad's side; I really do feel the power of family when I get to spend time with them. I was also able to reunite with elementary classmates in more than a decade (since 1996). Some I can sort of remember, some I can barely... but yet I feel there's something that connects us... for the fact that we were once "stuck" in the same room several hours a day, several days a week. Lastly, can't forget the friends from Berkeley... we had a good time loitering around 士林夜市 (and yes, theoretically Wendy should treat us free food). The only thing that annoyed me were the ridiculous humidity and the stupid rain that "followed" me wherever I went (even though the temperature is a bit cooler the morning after). Back to LA, I'm just enjoying the company of HS friends and cousins. Approximately 2 weeks before first day of work really... 2.5 weeks to soak up the So Cal sun before training begins at a place and country that I've never been to despite the commonality with my native language. And before I head over to my bed and knock out, special thanks to that big can of Heineken~
